I looked around and didn't see anybody discuss doing this:

http://mattmegbrew.blogspot.com/2009/11/cheap-fermwrap.html

I had a friend order from the site they recommend and it works great. I just ordered enough to make 2 heaters... $35.50 shipped. Morebeer.com charges 40 plus shipping for one and it is the same thing... look at the pictures.

Just thought I'd throw this out there...

Alot of people use them on here. I use one but not in the recommended way....I tywrap mine to the back of my fermentation fridge during the winter. Unplug the fridge from my temperature controller and plug in the heat pad instead. Enough ambient temperature is produced by the wrap to keep my fridge in the 70's when my basement is in the 50s.....

Thanks for the link, I've been looking for a way to heat up my carboys in the winter. Great price! I have some aquarium temp controllers just waiting to be used.
