Chasing hops

Just curious if you guys are chasing hops up the side of your brew bot and scraping them back down into the boil. I often get a lot of hops on the walls and want to make sure they're in the wort...

Is this common practice?

I put my hops in a strainer bag and dip them occasionally like a tea bag.

It's common for me. I scrape the hops off the sides as well.
