Ok, my wife is not really the beer drinker, but she does enjoy lambics. She gave me the challenge of mixing beer and champagne to come up with something. Now of course there is the old favorite of the Black Velvet, but does anyone have any other suggestions. Types of champagne, types of beer, other ingredients... I have looked around at my local beer store and came across the Samuel Adams Infimium and a couple of other Belgium champagne-beers. I am looking for mixed drinks that contain these two ingredients. Thanks.

I thought about the lambic and guinness, but she is not a fan of guinness. Sad really... She does like the peach lambic by lindemans.

I think she would probably dig a dry saison. Very similar to champagne in my opinion.

Also, gueuzes might be a hit with her as well.

I am trying different beers with her, and just we expect from women, it's all about their mood. (Just kidding to any women reading this, I love my wife). What I am trying to find is a cocktail recipe other than champagne and guinness.
