I was wondering if anyone has read this book, and could give me any feedback on it?

Also on cask ale at home in general, anyone have any advice?

where to buy? what I'll need to get started,or should I just read the book?

Thanks, guys!

I just got this book as I just picked up a new Pin Cask to throw some real ale parties every couple weeks this summer. I have not made it very far into it yet but if you can wait a couple days I can help you out some more. I feel as though it will be a great resource through the process as I have never done anything like this before. As for casks at home I cannot help you there as I will be gravity feeding out of my Pin Cask where it will all be consumed in one night.

awesome...yeh I'm nowhere near getting started yet, so take your time. any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Well in the mean time I got my pin cask from geemacher (http://www.geemacher.com/products.php). The guy who I have talked too has been Joel there and he has been great to work with as FedEx has lost my cask and he has been working with them to track it down and overnight me another.

I got all my Sundries from UKbrewing (http://www.ukbrewing.com/sundries.cfm) and from what I have read they are the go to guys for just about anything cask ale in the US. They also sell firkins and pins for a good price as well as anything you would need to serve them.

Hope this helps some.
