My friends and I got there around 930am, stYed until about 115, then went to chill, drop off bottles, and swim. This midday break was key, and allowed us to get back for the 4pm tasting. The tasting was from a barrel that had been sitting on cherries for only 3 days. This was a pretty unique experience to taste at such an early stage in the brewing process. Straight cherry juice. Troy explained this will be a new future release that will have even more fruit than The Cut. To be called "Casey Family Reserve"?
A very well run release, at an absolutely stunning location. I absolutely loved his beers before ever visiting, but this experience Got me deeper. At 4pm, the crowd had mellowed and they were still pouring everything but the low end. Only thing that I was semi upset about missing earlier in the day was Grape and Peach FS. They were gone by 1115.
