1 lbs. American Crystal 60L (37 p/p/g, 60 L)

Hops:

60 mins 2 oz Cascade Whole (6% alpha)
15 mins 2 oz Cascade Whole (6% alpha)
0 mins 2 oz Cascade Whole (6% alpha)

Mash at 150 degrees for 60 mins
Sparge out 12 gallons
 
Sound good. I love me some cascade hops. However, I am but a lowley extract brewer. I do steep grains though. I brew five gallon batches. Think you could point me in the direction? I was thinking

1 lb American crystal 40 L (steep 20 mins @ 150-65F)
6.6 lb LME (muntons light)

hop at same times except 2nd one at 30 min instead of 15) and only 1 oz each

And I suppose any ale yeast would do
