I'm trying to figure out how much corn sugar to add to my bottling bucket. The style is 15A Weizen/Weissier. According to Beer Smith the volume of CO2 is 2.5-2.9, Brew Pal the volume of CO2 is 3.6-4.5, and The Beer Recipator the volume of CO2 is 3.6-4.5. Can anyone tell me which one is right?

I would not do more than 3 on these. Over 3.5 and you probably should be looking at the quality of the bottles you use.

Thanks for the advice but maybe someone can answer which one is closer to the actual standard.

If you want bottle bombs, then go with a higher carb level like over 3.0 volumes. That should do it.

I like my beers under 2.7, as anything too high is way too spritzy for me!

In Brewing Classic Styles by Jamil Zainasheff, he states that a Weizen should be carbed at 2.5 to 3 volumes.

Trust Jamil and BeerSmith. I agree with Yooper: 2.7 is about right. That's definitely going to get you to the style guideline of "spritzy finish aided by high carbonation. Always effervescent." If you want to go above 3.0, just make sure you're wearing full body kevlar any time you're anywhere near a bottle of the stuff.
