That's pretty misleading as regarding this particular thread.

But big thanks to everyone that gave very valuable information above. Really appreciate it.
(I did actually only register on this forum to ask this question in this particular thread, so I am all good thanks.)

meh... truth is this forum is pretty tight knit... some don't care about releases, some do... if you actually were an established poster you wouldn't have gotten this type of response... feel free to stick around and see that we're actually not that bad if you so wish... but in general, you'll get this type of reaction if you come in here "looking for something" without ever taking part in any threads

But isn't it nonethesless a bit interesting that (among very usuful info) I am told twice not to worry about what Cantillon realeases when, in a thread called "CantillonWatch"?
It's called "CantillionWatch" because it's for, wait for it, watching what's on at Cantillon. It's not called "CantillionPredict" because no one can predict what they'll do. You aren't getting the information you want because no one knows it, possibly not even the Cantillon staff.

This isn't a thread about spontaneously fermented time pieces..?

Thanks, appreciate it. I do understand -- perhaps I would have been annoyed at my own question if it was posed by a newcomer with an attitude, had I been part of this tightly knit group for years. I planned to eject, and without any hard feeling I must underline, but I’ll stick around then, and see if I can make a more positive contribution in some other thread – or even to this thread when I go to Cantillon in a month or so during which I can be of more proper "watching" use by taking a photo of what’s on and posting it here.

You make a passionate point in defending the integrity of what you perceive to be the delimitations of this thread, and in joining the choir of sarcastic bashing of my short presence here. Good job. But in my defense let me just point out two things.

1. I have not asked for “predictions”, believing there is room between predicating and watching, I have asked for approximations and educated guesses based on previous years. And I made sure to point out that I understand that “nothing at all can be said with any certainty given [Cantillon’s] ways of working”.

2. I have gotten a lot of useful information from those in this forum that took time to actually respond to my question. I have never said I have not gotten enough info from them. I am content.

Aren't these pretty much exactly the same thing though?

Just do yourself a favour and go for Zwanze day. Worst case, you'll have an insane on-site list to drink through. Likely you'll also be able to bring home a couple bottles of Fou Foune and LPF, perhaps even a Mamouche, and you wouldn't have to settle with just the horrible horrible regulars.

For what it's worth, (nothing really) I can't ******* to get to Cantillon for the first time next week. Couldn't possibly care less about what I can leave the building with.

I should be there on Tuesday as well as other days during the week. Also, I'm just happy to be there as well regardless of their to-go list.

I'm in The NL Tues&Wed with nothing to do while the lady is working. Thinking about going to Brussels on Tuesday instead of dragging her to Cantillon later in the week.

This weekend they ran out of Grand Cru.

And that is basically how it always is, they have Fou to go, then the next day they don't and then two days later it's back again. It's impossible to predict what they'll have, even when beers have been 'released'.

The grand cru they were selling this weekend was bottled last week. I dont think they "ran out" entirely, but for the day or maybe two (as you said above). I will report back with what's on the board when I go later today.

1 week from today, the 15th. I will finally be making it to Cantillon. Will likely be there the next day (Saturday) as well :)
So of course, down to split bottles, or meet up in the night for more beverages. Cheers !
