Me too, will be there around 14:30 with two buddies. 2 meter tall fat guy with curls. Let's hope it won't be too crowded

If it's true that they're going to limit the amount of seasonals they sell at the brewery, any idea where they will be sold (if at all)? I'd assume different bottle shops around Brussels/Belgium, but curious if anyone has seen any St. Lam / Vig / LPG floating around shelves recently

Seen them all here in the Netherlands.

Mostly shop owners who pick up their max at Cantillon and put them on sale at their own shop. Maybe the only place with a bit more is Bierkoning, but they've been doing it for years. Also, if any (specials) are available it's very likely to be sold out either the same day or the day after.

Not too bad here in Eindhoven, two guys got lucky with the distributor. Van Moll had vig and lam and the bottleshop had al three. Got them from de Bierlijn. I tried but was too late

Apparently nothing was for sale to go on Saturday :(

I'll be there at 11:30 tomorrow. Tall, fat and a black carhartt shirt. Not extremely autistic so say hello :)

See everyone there!

You should add that those are onsite only. If you like just insanely sour they are for you, but personally it is maybe my least favorite thing on the onsite menu, OK, I like LHD and Faro even less, but that is it.
Cheers

Fou '08 was great. Pretty acidic indeed, but held tons of fruit as well. I liked it quite a bit.

LHD you could not pay me to drink. :) That being said, it's still an interesting experience.

Not sure if this has been posted but....

So I have a not-into-beer-at-all friend that will be in Brussels next week and I'm wondering how much of a hassle it is to get shipping materials and to make a shipment back to the States...is there a store to acquire a shipper and a post office near Cantillon?

I'm sure that this has been answered in this thread before, but 39 pages is a lot. Thanks!

It is a bit of a hassle. Styro shippers are non-existent in Belgium, bubble wrap generally only available in specialist stores (think Uhaul), Belgian post offices are staffed by ********. Your buddy would need to make it a bit of a project.

If he takes the bottles to Belgium in a box, they will pack it up and ship it for you. (for a charge, of course)

Doesn't Cantillon sell 3 bottle styro shippers? They used to at least

Thanks for the info guys.

Why not just have him put the bottles in his luggage?

Because he is going to Barcelona for a week after Brussels.

Any idea what they charge? Not seeing anything on the site. I can send them an email to inquire.

They recently sent out a email saying that they could do this service. Try emailing them and asking for a general quote...
