Never fear. I saw a bottle of Nath on My Beer Collectibles for the bargain basement price of $165.

Must say they seem to have gone down in price again. I though FF was more expensive last year than it is this year.
Not 165USD expensive obviously, but still, 16 euro's for a bottle is a lot ;)

I understand where you're coming from but I can't think of a single 750mL fruited American sour that I can get for under $20 USD and most sell for closer to $30 USD.

Plan Bee

Also, I thought Suarez bottles were affordable

Plan Bee's bottles have gotten more expensive, and I'm 99% sure Suarez fruit beers have all been in 500ml bottles (though generally speaking, yeah, their stuff is pretty damn affordable).

Does Brother Soigne count as a fruited American sour? It has blood orange, lime, and hibiscus, comes in a 750, and runs for $10 a bottle. If so, that's your value buy right there.

Four fruited 750's right now for $20 or under and they have Magnums of fruited sours for $35-$40.

Very fair imo.

I only see one on the bottle sale menu that is a 750 for under $20 (some are right at $20, though). Regardless, this wasn't meant to delve into a discussion of every single brewery that has any bottles that are under $20. Was just making a point about how most Americans would love to see Fou quality beers for 16 Euros

I'll be making my first trip Nov 2-5 if anyone is around and wants to share some bottles!

If all goes well I'll be stopping by there Nov-4 in the afternoon.

Hey guys, also planning a stop, probably one day only, probably Nov 2 or 3rd. I'd love to split some bottles if the timing works out! Feel free to PM.

-Nate

I picked up some bottles this Tuesday. It was the first time my name was noted down from my bank card. Does anyone know what restrictions they apply? In other words, how will me buying 3/2/1/1 Fou Foune, Nath', Lou Pepe Framboise and Grand Cru Bruocsella impact future visits? Relevant because I might visit again this Saturday and it's a 4 hour roundtrip.

They will tell you that you already purchased your allotment of each of those beers for this brewing season. In theory (and probably reality due to name tracking), they won't let you buy those beers again until 12 months from now.

Just got back and the place was crowded! Well for me anyway, we even had to wait outside and it took a half an hour to buy bottles. Reminded me of the open beer days this year, never again

Cantillon did not do any recent investments ofcourse, so that explains the difference ;)

No more beer for you! Wel except for regulars :)

They were €12

Ah, 12. I remember buying something at 16 euros though. Or is that wrong too?

Have they done this before (limit allotments per week) or is this atypical?

I missed Nath/FF/LPF by a day -- go figure. Overpaid for Nath and FF in a Brussels shop on my last day in town, which is starting to feel less ridiculous given the madness at the brewery.
It’s regular practice, but I don’t remember them announcing it before, though I don’t have FB, so that could be why.

Nah I don't think they've announced it before. But I also don't think they ever had lines going into the street! Crazy.
