Scored 2 qts. of Appleblossum honey from a side-of-the-road vendor yesterday. She said their hives are in an apple orchard. Each qt. weighed 2lb 11oz. and cost $12, so <$4.50 per pound. Since I usually do 1 gallon batches, each qt. should do 1 batch. May have to go get some more and go hog wild!

Lucky. I see hives in orchards around here all the time but never the honey.
Might do well in a cyser, eh?

Nice. I'll never get apple blossum. Orange or grapefruit maybe, but those are getting harder to find.

Great minds think alike. Even mediocre minds think alike. I just started a blueberry cyser, but also got a new cider press, so when apple season comes around........
