Hi all,
I started a batch of pear cider yesterday (decided to try something different). It's the middle of summer here at the moment, and the thermometer on the carboy read 30 degrees Celsius when I pitched the yeast which I think was a little hot?
24 hours later it's bubbling away nicely, but it is still around 28 degrees Celcius and does't show any signs of cooling.
Is this this going to affect the brew? 20-25 degrees is recommended for this kit.
Thanks for any info.
