can you use wine conditioner in cider ?

Trying to back sweeten my cider batch. Guy at the home brew store swore by wine conditioner. I afraid of fermentation restarting with it....

Anyone know How does this affect flavor ?

It'll work. It affects flavor just as sorbate and sweetener typically do.
