I see people mostly grow the usual centennial, cascade, Columbus, nugget, williamette, etc is there anywhere that sells and I'm guessing not otherwise we would've seen it but like simcoe, citra, etc some of the newer hops? Anyone know why these aren't released yet or are they just to new. I'd love a simcoe plant.

They are proprietary so someone spent a lot of money to develop them and is making (hopefully) a lot of money selling them and then using some of that to develop new strains.

If you are looking for something "new", go old. There are a lot of varieties that fell out of favor years ago that you can get. There's nothing wrong with them.

Ah well that would explain that. Thanks.

Last thing, they don't give you rhizomes they give you a plant that has a bit of growth!
