Can I move the input on my secondary regulators?

I have 3 low pressure secondary regulators. They'll be fed with 40PSI from my primary.

Can I move the input to the secondaries from the right to the left side or will it not function that way?

As far as I know for regulators, 100% of the pressure goes through horizontally. Vertical outputs are controlled by the bladder.

Am I wrong on that?

I have been shopping for some secondaries recently so their plumbing is fresh in my mind. I am fairly certain the gas inlet can be from either side (left or right). I'm sure the same regulator is used for single and ganged multiple secondaries. In the case of multiples, gas passes through the horizontal ports. Just to be sure simply blow CO2 from one side to the other o check it.

My Taprites have a arrow pointing one direction but I had Taprite confirm with me that it didn't matter which end got fed.

guys, do you know if secondary regulators are modular?

Can you buy one with two and then later buy another two and daisy chain them together?

Thx in advance.

If they're true secondaries from the same manufacturer there's no end to how many you can keep adding to your gang, you just to purchase the correct nipples...

Cheers!

Sorry for the idiocracy, but.....

Is the co2 out from the primary requlator flowing in two directions through each secondary....
  1. unimpeded to the next chained secondary
  2. impeded via the secondary to the nipple

What is stopping the co2 from continuing out the last secondary in the chain? Is there a cap? Do you just take that cap off when you want to add more secondaries to the chain? Or is some sort of adapter required to link from say a set of two secondaries to another set of two secondaries (assuming same manufacturer)?

One installs a threaded plug at the end of the gang opposite the feed line.

The flow through the "common rail" is whatever the up-stream primary reg delivers - and is indeed unimpeded through that rail, which is why you can keep adding more bodies.

Cheers!
