I have my first lager batch lagering in my fridge, at a tempurature of about 40 degrees. I have another lager kit I'd like to start on, but my question is this...

If I do my second lager batch, will it harm the batch already in the fridge if, when it comes time to ferment the second batch in the fridge, to increase the fridge temp to 55 degrees or whatever it needs to be for a couple weeks?

Then I'd pull the second lager out for a d-rest, then put it back in the fridge, moving the tempurature down slowly to lagering temps again.

Thanks all!

Ideally, once you have your beer lagering down near 40F, you don't want to warm it back up again. That said, I've had many occasions where my lager temperatures fluctuated more than I would like and as long as everything always stays below 55 it turns out okay.

To summarize; not "officially" but yes in a RDWHAHB kind of way.
