I am looking to find a smaller brew pot/kettle to use for my outdoor brewing during the colder months when I cannot run my wort chiller. My chilling method is to fill up a large plastic tub with snow/ice and add some water/salt to get a water slush mixture. My pot will then go inside of this tub. I donated my 32 qt kettle to a new homebrewer and my 60 qt kettles won't fit into these tubs. (Plus it is often too cold to try to do 10 gallon brews in the winter).
I was looking at something in this price range but I am not sure about how thick the gauge is for homebrewing. Anyone have an opinion on this pot or perhaps another one that might be better?
