john candy was kind of funny in planes trains and automathings

andyay caddyshack is prettty fing funny but itsstill not a sporstsmovie

Golf isn't a sport, so yeah right. If John Daly can do it, it can't be a sport. It's written up in the Sports section of the paper because there isn't a "Hobbies and Passtimes" section.

SW: Return of the Jedi was not a SciFi movie. It was a Muppet movie.

Jedi's the "worst" of the original trilogy, but still is a great movie. The only thing that really sucks about it is the Ewoks.

Besides, Lando Calrissian got to fly the Millenium Falcon!

Return of the jedi sucked, any other response should be in the "Shrek 2 was hillasious and fun filled family fun movie" on IMDB's message board for the topic of "what ****ty ass movie can we not only make alot of money from"
 
No matter how you feel Return of Jedi sucked, it was way better than Episodes I, II, & III.

wait a second...are you saying since fat, drunk people can play it, it must not be a sport??

Daily was what, high 200's at his peak? How fat was the "fridge"? 350? football must not be a sport. And what about Prince Fielder? He's at least 250. Baseball - not a sport. Hockey? those guys are huge, i could name a dozen over 250.

golf is a physical sport. if you aren't exhausted after walking 18, you aren't doing it right. sorry you suck at golf.

Physical sport?! Man, I'm glad I didn't see this while drinking my coffee because I would have spewed it all over my monitor. So tell me, how many guys do you have to box-out of the green each hole? What's your best time for the sprint between holes? Who is the PGA all-time leader for tackles?

Also, if you're tired after walking 18 then you're one of those fat, drunk people you're talking about.

lol! yeah, you're exactly who i'm talking about. uh.......did i say it was a "contact" sport???

by walking, i meant carrying, not caddying or pushing. go walk around for 5 hours with 40lb on your back, and tell me it's not a "physical" activity. yeah, you're right, it's exactly the same as sitting on your couch drinking beer :rolleyes:

btw, i'm 5'11" and 165lb and I played collegiate rugby.

again...sorry you suck at golf.
 
What about the Kevin Kostner opus where he pitches a no hitter.

That is certainly not a sports movie. It's a full on chick flick.

Yeah, I understand how official golf matches go. And that's about as "physical" as hiking ..... which is TOTALLY a physical sport.

Yes, that's what I'm saying. And yes, I suck royally at golf. If I didn't have two sons that love it, I'd never play again.

(I like watching my boys play... they grew up with the sport and are naturals. And I wish I was better so that I could enjoy it. Maybe when I retire)

I'm really happy for you, and imma let you finish, BUT AIRBUD: SEVENTH INNING FETCH WAS THE BEST SPORTS MOVIE OF ALL TIME.
 
I was the last one left after the nuclear holocaust, eh. The whole world had been destroyed, like U.S. blew up Russia and Russia blew up U.S. Fortunately, I had been offworld at the time. There wasn't much to do. All the bowling alleys had been wrecked. So's I spent most of my time looking for beer.
