buying a filled 20lb tank (2007 date, supposely) and 7 cornelius for $200. Is there anything I should look out for on the equipment? I don't want to get screwed over....

Make sure they hold pressure, and that nothing bad was in them. Other then that, clean, sanitize and replace the O-rings and start brewing!

Watch out for some of the Firestone cornies some of them have plastic pressure relief valves that crack and are impossible to find parts for you'd buy a whole new lid which can cost as much a the cornie from some places

It's also a good idea to test and see if they hold pressure if you have the ablility also test at low pressure many cornies seal a 30-45 PSI and leak at 5-10 PSI Soapy water is a good way to check but it may simply need o-rings look for bent lids too

For compatibillity w/ other cornies look for the oval lids that curve constantly rather than the racetack type that are straight on 2 sides

Also check and make sure the CO2 tank does not belong to Pepsi or Coke some people may not fill and or won't swap them out for you

Aluminum CO2 tanks cost more than steel so that's a factor too
