I ordered a pound of Bullion and Legacy hop pellets. Legacy hops profile lists, grapefruit, black currant, floral and spicy aromas. I understand Bullion used to be used a lot for bittering. Both hops are new to me. Trying to get out of my "C" hop rut. I am brewing a Specialty IPA, a black IPA. I could use some ideas on hopping. Hoping someone has used Legacy. Here are the recipe basics.
80% Maris Otter
5% Patagonia 55L
5% midnight wheat
5% Blackprinz
5% dextrose
I will mash around 152 degrees. I was thinking 65-70 IBU's.
