I read through the whole show us your kegerator thread and got excited and ordered a bunch of stuff to make my own kegerator. I want to do a fridge and need room to have a 1/2 barrel of bud light for the wife and 2 corny's for me. what is the minum size fridge I need?

well since fridges are typically measured in cubic feet its not based on just "what size" it is but more specifically how much floor/height space you have. See this post on sizing kegs for your fridge/freezer conversion (they show chest freezers but i'm sure you'll get the idea) and check your local hardware/craigslist to see whats out there. Take cutouts with and measure on the spot and you'll start to see about what size typically works.

BTW, 1/2 barrel keg of BL will be about 24" tall and around 15" wide while cornies are 25" tall and about 9" wide in worst case scenario (depending on whether you have ball-lock or pin-lock)

Best of luck and let us know how it goes!

P.S. if ya get rid of that BL keg you've got room for another 2, maybe 3 cornies ;)
