I always stated to my parents as a child, I wanted to be a brew master, a bartender, and I collected beer cans in the 70's which I still have on display today. As with age the bucket list grows like the waistline. I was glad to find this website to research exactly how deep I want to go into beer brewing. Already I have wondered if my wife comes home one day and finds our spare fridge transformed into a Keezer, how much trouble will I be in...lol

Welcome to this forum. Tread with caution as brewing is a rabbit hole of no return. Apparently your DNA includes that crazy beer gene that causes us to want to do everything beer related. And that fridge is doomed. You are already comptemplating converting it to a kegerater. The wife has many surprises to come home to in the future as you are on your way. Don't worry, relax and have a homebrew
