Weird question:
I pitched some yeast in a carboy 2 1/2 days ago, it's in my fermentation chamber which is kept warm by a little space heater controlled by a temp controller. I've probably gone to look at the beer 5-6 times now and EVERY single time when I am seeing how fermentation is going I open the door (thus introducing cold air) which causes the heater to kick on and as soon as it does the bubbler starts to pass bubbles at like 5 times the normal rate. I've even heard it do that when I don't have the door open, heater kicks on and it starts bubbling like mad.
What the heck?
Is the beer trying to tell me it wants to be warmer? I have it at 66 degrees.
