Weird question:
I pitched some yeast in a carboy 2 1/2 days ago, it's in my fermentation chamber which is kept warm by a little space heater controlled by a temp controller. I've probably gone to look at the beer 5-6 times now and EVERY single time when I am seeing how fermentation is going I open the door (thus introducing cold air) which causes the heater to kick on and as soon as it does the bubbler starts to pass bubbles at like 5 times the normal rate. I've even heard it do that when I don't have the door open, heater kicks on and it starts bubbling like mad.

What the heck?

Is the beer trying to tell me it wants to be warmer? I have it at 66 degrees.

nah your good. A liquid can only hold so much co2 at a given temp. so when your heater kicks on its warming it up enough to release some co2 stored in the beer.

This, and the fact that you are heating the air in the headspace above the beer which expands and pushes out through the airlock.
