Bubbles in filler tube?

Has anyone had trouble with bubbles in the fill tube from their bottling bucket? I seem to get a few bubbles spinning around in the valve. Is this something I should worry about or should I just discount a minor annoyance?

It's a minor annoyance...it's really nothing to worry about, the bubbles more than likely are made of co2 rather than o2 anyway.

Besides it takes a huger amount of oxygen to cause damage to your beer.

Yep, the pressure that comes from having a fermentation lock (it's not much, but is enough) causes some CO2 to be suspended in your beer. As your beer travels through the fill tube, the CO2 gets released. It's not a big deal at all.

I have a pickup tube installed on the inside of my bottling bucket valve. I find that I get a little trapped air in the top of the valve body. My solution is to spin the spigot around so the bottling wand points up, let this air get into the wand, depress the bottle filler valve to release, then spin the wand back down to the bottling position.
