Brutus gas valve ?

Does it mater if I put my gas ball valve before or after the Honeywell gas valve?

It looks like most are putting the gas ball valve under (before) the Honeywell gas valve but I want to put mine above it (after).

Anyone see a problem with this?

Place the valve after for throttling, otherwise the valve will not be very happy with changeing inlet pressures. You can set the internal regulator on the honeywell valve for the burner fire level you want and not have to use a ball valve after the gas control valve.
