What do all of you do for a living? I install and service business telephone systems.

Firefighter for the largest fire department in the country..The US Forest Service.

I bleed that horrible color of green, my whole being smells like wood smoke... my body is broken. I love it, occasionally....

I do sensitive computer work. My last job involved hacking into banks and stuff, was cool.

You have no idea how useful a get-out-of-jail-free card is when you decide to try to pull off an inside attack and bull**** your way past the guards, then some ****** in IT notices you're not part of the staff there and calls security. Running helps sometimes too.

I'm an HVAC tech by trade, but I've ventured into several businesses in the last few years. I have a company related to the buying and selling of distressed properties (preforclosures). Another related to the rehabbing of some of the properties, specifically the one's that I don't wholesale to another rehabber. A third company that I use for the trading of stock options, and last but not least, I just created an LLC two weeks ago associated with me dabbling in wedding photography. I'm not sure I'll continue to do that. It's stressful dealing with all the demands that a bride and her family place on a photographer. I love photography, but I haven't enjoyed one wedding shoot as of yet.

I'm this guy I hook up phrases and clauses and make them work right (mostly) :D

I write. Mainly about food, wine, kitchen gear and its associated history and anthropology (when they let me). I'm working on the proposal for the next book, which should expand things a bit.

Oh, and I do occasionally make my own bacon. Does that count?

I am a technician at a Chevy dealer. I am ASE master certified as well as a GM World Class Technician. I work on all the Corvettes and Hybrids. My specialties are electrical and driveability.

I'm an electrical engineer working in the consulting field... mostly design electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and light industrial facilities.

As a Federal Civil Servant my job title is Equipment Specialist for the M109A6 Paladin Self-Propelled Howitzer, 155mm.

I manage all aspects of/for the Paladin's maintenance, publications, provisioning, etc., for 5 levels of maintenance, operator through depot, training of the soldiers and civilians who support it at Army posts around the world, etc...:D

Here's a pic of my baby:

Currently a low voltage designer working as a consultant with electrical engineers. In my past I have been a cabling installer, prepper for a body shop working on show cars and airplanes, framer, concrete worker both above and below ground, and yeah I have tried a few occupations.

Recently started an affiliate marketing business and hope that will be the one that lets me retire from a 9-5.

Molecular Biology here.

Which by the way, Mr. Flynn, i see that you have a beer you are brewing called Texass Red AHS. Is there a reason behind that? I ask because there is a fluorescent dye that I use called Texass Red.

Ok, carry on...

I'm an *******. It's my job. It's what I do.

When nobody is around for me to annoy, I'm an electronics technologist. I find ways to be an ******* while being a technologist too. As I said, it defines me and everything I do.

I'm a marine mammal trainer. I take care of 5 dolphins, 3 sea lions, 4 harbor seals and 3 grey seals. It's a ton of work but also the best job in the world. Working with these animals and seeing the smiles on kids every day is a pretty rewarding part of my job; no matter how cheesy that sounds.

software development / middle management for a large online banking solutions provider. It isn't glamorous, but can be extremely challenging / rewarding and it pays well.

Production Scheduling for a power company. If that sounds boring to you, that's because it is. They're usually paying me obscene amounts of money to post on HBT and sleep. Speaking of which, now that I've posted some, time for sleep!

I'm an account development manager for Jupiterimages, one of the world's largest stock photography suppliers. My job has me interfacing with our photographers and the end-users who use/license the rights to their content- advertising agencies, publishers, design firms, etc.

The job has me travel occasionally- where I get to art-direct photoshoots and work directly with creatives. Love it!
