This stuff gets a from me. I'm impressed. I had a carboy that I had siphoned the beer out of but left the yeast and hops behind. Fast forward 2 months later and I have a dried on residue and clumps on the carboy.

Just dumped the stuff in the carboy at the recommended dilutions, let it sit overnight, and all the clumps just dissolved and fell to the bottom.

This stuff works great!

I agree. I used a pack of it disolved in (2) 5 gal buckets filled with warm water. I cleaned (removed the labels) 100 bottles in one day. It was so easy...the labels were literally falling off after 10-15 min. I will never use another product for removing labels again.

Have you ever compared it on price and performance with Oxiclean Free? I am curious. UBC is the same as Oxiclean Free (sodium percarbonate, sodium carbonate) with the addition of sodium metasilicate. I am not a chemist, so I have no idea as to whether it would behave substantially differently.
