What kind of music do you listen to on brew day? I usually just tune the radio to the local rock station, unless there is a ball game on. How about y'all?
depends on my mood, but most anything from Mozart to Cannibal Corpse. this excludes anything boy band-ish, pop country, Willie Nelson, Linkin Park-ish, Willie Nelson, emo, Willie Nelson, or Willie Nelson.
Hmmmm.... jazz (monk especially), Sinatra, sometimes I go for punk or metal, I suppose it depends on who I'm brewing with and what I'm brewing. Certain cultures believe that loud noises and music drive away the spirit of the fermentation others believe that the activity pays tribute and gives way to a vigorous fermentation. I prefer loudness! Oh yeah... and Creedence. But never the eagles. I just hate the ****in eagles man.
I listen to everything from classic rock to jazz. It depends on the mood I'm in. Miles Davis Kind of Blue is great, so is Bill Frisell's Gone Like a Train. Of course sometimes I just like to get the Led out or simply tune into some classic rock internet radio station.
This makes me wonder....they did some experiments growing plants while playing them different music. How about playing some music for your yeasts during fermentation? lol
