Ed,

Can I get some grain in an order crushed, and some not crushed?

Mostly, I order what I plan to use in the next few weeks, but with some specialty grains, recipes may only call for a few ounces. I would prefer to just crush those in my Corona as needed.

Just got 82% eff. with Eds grain and my mill I bought from him. BEAUTIFUL brew day! Someone was telling me that they saw thier eff. suffer when using Rahr 2-Row... FWIW, 82% is pretty darned good, I think that there were other issues there.

Id like to dedicate this brew day to Ed and his great service. :rockin:

Of course you can. Just send me an email, and let me know what you want crushed and uncrushed and we will take care of you.

Edit: We have also been known to adjust the gap settings on our Barley Crusher if you request it.

Thanks,

Ed

I am glad you got such good efficency, and thanks for the dedication. Does that mean your sending me a sixer?

:off: That is some really green grass. You can tell you put some time into that yard.

My yard gets a few hours of work a week... and hundreds of pounds of chemicals!

Id send you a sixer, but I dont bottle... suppose I have to send you a keg?

Of course if you WANT to send me a keg, I would certainly drink it. I finally had some time to brew this past week so I now have 20 gallons fermenting away. Getting the pipeline stocked up. Another brew day planned for next monday, so I am much better off than I was.

My order came quickly. My barley crusher was ripping through grain within hours of arriving. Thank you for the smooth transaction.

just fired up my second order from b.m.w.h. getting grains for a dry stout and a temp controller for my soon to be christened kegerator. love getting the stuff within 3 or 4 days here in CT and the reasonable prices, obviously. Thanks, Ed.

I just got a couple of ball lock kegs on the cheap, but one was missing a beer side dip tube. Do you sell those? I couldn't find any on your site.

I don't stock them but I can get a liquid side dip tube for a ball lock keg. You would be looking at about 13.99 for the tube. The replacement parts can be pricy while a used keg is pretty cheap.

Another small product update. I just added WGV hops which brings the tally to 47 different types of hops available.

I also just added some Silicone tubing to the site for high temp transfers.

As always thank you for your support, it is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ed

just had to give another shout out to ed for the great service. I placed my order monday night at 11 and my grains were on my doorstep at 1 today. Each beer is clearly labeled and sealed up nicely.

this is why he'll keep getting my business.

I'm gonna be all over that silicone tubing on my next order. Tired of wondering whether this vinyl tubing (which the Lowe's stock book says is only rated to 150 F) is leaching stuff into my beer at sparge temps.

I just received my 2nd order from Brewmasters Warehouse and was completely shocked that the order was shipped out within hours of me placing the order!

I decided to try them because i ordered from my steady online HB store and was fed up with looooooong order processing! My last... and do mean LAST order from them took 7 days for a small basic order with no reason for delays. So i ordered from Brewmasters... 3 days to my door! Same distance as the other store but much faster! Second order from them... 3 days!

I am all about finding the best deals online and they are even cheaper (Product + Shipping) then most!

Something needs to be said about the attention to detail... so here it goes:

Dear Brewmasters Warehouse,

Thank you.

Sincerely,
You new devoted customer.

I am going to be ordering ingredients from your site soon for my next batch which is going to be this recipe. I noticed you don't have Crystal 30L and your roasted barley is 550L. What would be your suggestion for the crystal, should I go with crystal 40L or crystal 20L? For the roasted barley which on your site is 550L, should I go with less than the recipe calls for or sub something else? Thanks a lot for your help and suggestions!

I am glad you are going to give us a try. I owuld sub the Crystal 30 with Crystal 40 for Crystal 40. The crystal 40 is a little closer in taste profile to Crystal 30 than Crystal 20 is. As far as the Roasted Barley, I would not even owrry about it. The recipe only has 4 ounces of Roasted Barley, and the color difference is not all that much.

Hope this helps,

Ed
