Brewing with cannabis

I've been wondering if anyone's brewed with cannabis. Can the seeds be mashed to get sugars from. I'm thinking about trying a small experimental batch.

I had a black IPA called Duhbe (as in doobee). It was brewed with seeds and was delicious.
Before everybody jumps in with that ol' it's illegal, and we can't talk about it... let's try to keep an open mind.
