Hey Brewers! I have the 8.5 Gallon Brewmaster Stainless Steel Brew Kettle (BE303). Simple question: can I use this kettle with an induction range?

If a fridge magnet sticks to the bottom it will work.
Thanks much! That's the info I needed. My kettle must not have iron in it; oh well...
Some (stainless) kettles still work on induction even if a magnet doesn't stick to it.
Only one way to find out... you need to try it!

I have a (cheap) PolarWare kettle that works A-OK on induction, but a magnet won't stick to it.

I too have three cheap stock pots purchased at various places including the cheap Walmart line. None will stick to a magnet and all work excellent on my induction cooktop. Try with some water sometime before counting them out.

You will not know until you try. Maybe your friends have an induction heater to try. I use Avantco 3.5kW with Bayou Classic 1060 for 5.5-6 gallon BIAB batches
