I'm gonna brew tonight I am doing my second partial mash. I have 3.25 pounds of grains. My calculations are 1 gallon of water for mashing and 2.5 for sparging is this correct?
 
A little thicker than I would go, but should be ok. I tend to use 1 1/2 quarts per pound.
