Hey all,

I have been lurking on this site for quite a while now and finally got around to sign up and join the great discussion that is beer.

I am born and raised in Belgium and at the beginning of the year moved to Switzerland. Been brewing since 2013 so I am still pretty fresh when it comes to homebrew but I am always been passionate about beer.

I started brewing a lot more since I moved to Switzerland since I can't seem to find a lot of good beers around here, there are a few but the chioce is so slim. The bars around here usually serve 3/4 beers all from the same brewery. So my goal is also to find some good homebrewing buddies I can share my love and passion with.

Where are you based? It's true the choice of good Swiss beer is slim, but it's growing...and expensive. I'm based in Lausanne.. A big fan of la nébuleuse (www.lanebuleuse.ch) and Les trois Dames (brasserie3dames.ch)

You surely found the right place for all things beer, mead, wine, food, etc. I too am surprised about the limited beer selection over there. But we can help with that easy enough! :tank:

You would think that being so close to Germany we would have learned... But I guess we have more of a Wine Culture. There are a number of small breweries producing great beer ... You just have to find them :)
