Just brewed my first batch in about 3 months, a decent looking IPA (Unfortunately my pictures didn't work out, but maybe I'll take some when it starts bubbling.)

Had an interesting time as I couldn't locate some of the fittings and hoses for my immersion chiller (don't know where the packers put them at). Made for a later start than I wanted.

It's good to be brewing again. :rockin:

Time for an update on my IPA. It's been fermenting away for just over a week. Gravity reading is still at 1.030, so it's got a bit to go, plus there is a decent amount of krausen remaining.

Drank the hydro sample (of course). Decent hop flavor and aroma which should improve even more when I dryhop in secondary.

So are you going to be staying put for awhile now? First brew in three months sounds like a severe case of withdrawal. It's been a week now, did you make another batch this weekend? Hmmmmm?

Thought about it, but have pretty much decided that my next batch will be AG, and if I have to wait a month or so to do it, I'd rather save the money that I'd spend on extract ingredients to spend on the equipment.
