Brewing a Brewers Best Smoked Porter tonight. Any suggestions for making it unique?

I have tried coffee, and chocolate, both with good results in porters. I would lean toward coffee with a smoked porter. Just my oppinion though. Any porter is usually a good porter! Hmmm, on second thought ,I would lean toward the chocolate! :drunk:

What would be best to add for the chocolate? I have some Hershey's unsweetened cocoa.

I hear Coco nibs work great but in the past I used what you have and it worked fine. Have to do a little research for amounts and timing of additions. I would like to try and soak some oak chips in bourbon and then add the chips to the secondary. Smoked Bourbon Porter sounds good! mmmmm......

Brewed an Oaked Imperial Stout 4 weeks ago that I added Jack Daniels to at the secondary, bottled it yesterday. Pre carbonated tasted great.
