Drinking the beers from the World Beers 6-pack now. Have finished 4/6. Here are my impressions. I'm not sure how long this pack has been on the shelves, so it might be skewing my perceptions.

Gulden Draak: Awesome. An excellent high ABV beer (well hidden) with a great taste.

Piraat Ale: This is pretty good. Does anyone know what they use in it. It has some of the most unique flavors/smells I have ever tasted.

Bruegel Amber Ale: I didn't find this too spectacular or unique.

Bornem Double: The most dissapointing of the ones I've tried so far. Overly carbonated and really missing something.

The bruegel and bornem are both lacking hop character in my opinion.

This review isn't the most thorough, but I'm feeling the Piraat right so I don't have much more to say.

For those who have tried these beers, what do you think???

Just finished the Bornem Triple. I expected a dark beer, but instead it was light and had the same weird, fruity/spicy aroma as the Piraat. The Piraat seemed to have a nice malty taste after each sip, but this just had the spice. I was not impressed much.

So far, out of 5 beers the only one I would buy again is the Gulden Draak.
