OG is supposed to be : 1.051-1.055
I read :1.040-1.042 on 2 diff Hydrometers.
Wort was mixed very well in primary w/ top up water.
Steep 1lb. Caramel 20L
Rolling boil add 1 of 2 3.3lb. Of light LME.
Add bitt hops, boil 40 mins
Add remaining 3.3 of LME and boil 15 mins
Add aroma hops boil 5 mins and term boil.
Gave the Wort an ice bath and added room temp RO water to the kettle of Wort to bring the temp down quicker ( I've done this with my last 3 batches and turned out fine)
Got Wort to 68* and poured through strainer like I always do, and stirred well and took a reading and I'm lower than I should be, never happened before.
Not happy right now, what went wrong?
