Brewer for a Day @ Ellicottville Brewing Company

So my girlfriend and a bunch of her family got together some doughstacks and threw 'em at the Ellicttville Brewing Company exactly a week ago to buy be a chance to be a brewer for a day for my birthday!

They tout it to be like a brew school of sorts, which I could totally see if I didn't know what I was doing, but it was more a means for me to get into the big stuff for a day. Using all of their equipment, I brewed a full batch of pale ale tha is going to be served on tap at the brewpub.

Got there at 830am and we stayed until about 11ish with all the beer I could want and food to go with it!

I have to say, if any homebrewers out in the general vicinity of EBC get a chance to BfaD, DO IT!

I love EBC. One of my favorite brewpubs of all time. (The shepherds pie is phenomenal) Sounds like a great experience. Congrats!

Their oaked stout is PHENOMENAL!
