New to glycol and this things rep with regard to lack of manuals and operations info is well earned…tested with both sides looped all good then realized you can’t shut one side down if you aren’t using it…question is what do you do with the one side when you aren’t using it? Leave glycol lines attached? I’ve left the loop in the side I won’t be using and coiled up the temp probe and presume both sides need to be connected wether using them or not

Hold either the up button or down button for like 5 seconds and it turns off. Same thing turns that controller back on.

edit: pretty sure it’s the down button

If that works the OP is golden :)
Did your user manual show a pair of STC-1000 controllers? :)
I'd keep both loops looped and set the unused controller to some very high temperature...
