Has anyone tried brewing with maple sap instead of water? Does it have enough syrup in 5 gallons to flavour the final product? Thanks
 
You lose most of the maple flavour, if not all of it, during fermentation. My buddy in NS does it all the time and I can't detect any flavour from it.
