i'm new to home brewing and i'm looking to buy a new brew pot. whats the best brew pot? i was looking at 10 Gallon MegaPot from http://www.northernbrewer.com/kettles.html. is this a good pot?

A keggle. Cheap, 15.5 gal, and versatile - you can use it for a HLT, MLT, or brew kettle. 
I use the 20 gallon MegaPot for most of my brews, and I'm quite happy with it. You probably won't find a better pot at a lower price, IMHO.
Sparky has a great suggestion as well. I use a keggle for my HLT.

Do you use any type of false bottom or SS braid in your Megapot? I was thinking about getting a couple of them and possibly using one as a direct fired MLT. Thanks in advance for your input.
