On my previous order, packed the same way, both made it ok.

Just a heads up I called amazon and they were more than happy to ship me a replacement carboy no questions asked. Should be here in 2 days.

I ordered 2 of them about a month ago. They were stacked up at my front door; took the first one in the house, unpacked it & all was good. Went to move the second one but the sound of a bunch of broken glass in a box is unmistakeable. Called Amazon & they credited my account, no harm no foul. Box went straight to the trash, never made to the house. I asked the lady on the phone if I had to ship the damage product back, she wanted to know what she could do with a box of broken glass...enough said!

Bahh ! woke up this morning to 4 boxes at my doorstep... shake shake shake.. first one ok.. shake shake shake.. second and third box ok... shake shake shake rattle rattle rattle. 4th one smashed to pieces...
i still have to open them all to make sure of no cracks or anything but i know 1 for sure needs to be replaced..

$55 is from another vendor. WHen they are $30 it's actually amazon selling them with either free super saver shipping or prime if you have it.

What is the point of a single layer of bubble wrap in a box that isn't packed right to prevent the contents from moving or from the box from collapsing inward?

i don't even think the carboys fit the boxes at the top was almost protruding.. so i can see why these get broken..

Wow, I didn't even get bubble wrap on mine. I'm not sure how it showed up in 1 piece. But it did and now I a black IPA fermenting in it (or would that be an IBA?).

I ordered two of these last December. I waited until mid January when I received an email saying that there was an issue with the company and that they would not be able to send them to me. They cancelled the order. It would be nice if Amazon updated you when they came back in stock... lame.

My box of glass arrived today. I picked it up to bring it into the house and it sounded like a nice box of broken glass. Looking at the size of the box there can barely be sufficient packing in there to protect it.

I contacted Amazon and they said that they do not have any more product in stock and that they would need to issue a refund.

I'm a bit bummed as I was hoping to have a glass carboy for my primary instead of the bucket that I am currently using....oh well
