I recently was gifted staves from some Maker's Mark small batch. Accordingly, my next couple I batches MUST be "bourbon barrel aged" without actually being in a barrel. My question is when and how much of the staves I should let the beer sit on. I was thinking secondary, or maybe just letting it condition in the keg with the strips. Any advice or experience with some techniques will be greatly appreciated!!!

Cheers!

That sounds good. This should be done while it ages in the keg, correct?

How's it going to fit in the Keg? Those Soda Kegs with the removable tops
Sanke?? is that the term? I'd cut them down and split them into chunks,
paint strainer bag suspended in primary.
