Hi all, it's been a while... so, i'm looking at doing a hybrid BIAB, RIMS, Brutus 20. I've already committed to both keggles being bottom dump (as in, i cut the bottom out...) one keg has already been welded with 2" sanitary fittings from Bobby, the other just has a rough hole that needs to be de-burred. my question is this. Considering the cost of stainless welding, can I silver solder two more 2" Sanitary fittings on the new Keggle (HLT/MLT etc.) or should I fork over the cash money and have them welded. Also, if I silver solder them now, can I have them welded at another point or when I become proficient enough in welding when i can do it myself.... thanks ahead of time for your inputs!

I silver soldered two couplings on my keggle, it was my first attempt and it came out great...no issues with it at all. I cannot answer the part about re-welding it in the future

You can remove silver solder and weld over it, but if you silver solder it right you probably won't want too.

BTW I really dig my bottom drain MLT.
