What’s condescending about it?? Some have had enough of unqualified people giving advice as fact. Off topic forums or random websites aren’t the place for advice regarding a life altering or life ending virus.
Well, most folks here aren't going to use what they read on this forum as medical advice. I like to think that everyone here is savvy enough to read internet forum posts with their BS filters set to an appropriate tolerance level. If it comes down to preference between inappropriate posts and censorship, myself, I lean toward preferring the former. And I don't see the point in people being angry with screen names on the internet.

I said nothing about censorship or that I support it. I agree let the “inappropriate posts” stand; however, while some may have a reliable “BS meter”, it is clear based on the number of dead from COVID in the US or at the very least experiencing long COVID, that many of our citizens have an unreliable BS meter. I suspect my post may be considered off-topic and a moderator may censor me so I’ll stop here. 😆.

How many died from the flu last year compared to prior years? Just saying

a reliable “BS meter”
Similar to devices that measure OG/FG in homebrewing, "BS Meters" come in two styles: one follows headlines & events, the other follows people involved in the headlines & events. Both are useful when used appropriately.

eta: we each view 'the world' somewhat differently. Useful discussion (in the right places) can occur if we choose to focus on observations and facts. In those discussions there is likely little place for profanity, name calling, up votes, down votes, memes, ...
