Bottling question

Does it matter what you bottle mead into? I was going to use wine bottles, but does color or shape of the bottle make any difference?

I've been using old wine bottles that my dad finishes. Just cleaned them out and added mead and cork them again.

I've seen mead in all different color bottles , blue , green , clear don't think it makes a difference blue just looks cool.

Yeah moonlight meadery uses clear bottles and hidden legend winery uses clear as well
