If I am about to bottle from my 6.5 gallon bucket with a spigot, can I just hook up the beer bottle straight to the spigot? Or do I need a tube from the spigot to the bottle? I think I got a siphon that came with the kit, so I don't know if I should use that or not, or how.

I never had problems doing it that way but it is a risk to add oxygen. If you don't have a bottling wand at least make sure to tilt the bottle so that it doesn't splash.

what about with the siphon or the tube that comes with the kit, can that connect to the spigot? How are you supposd to use the spigot

Your kit probably came with a bottle filler. Use a short piece of tubing to connect the spigot on you bottling bucket to the botlle filler. The bottle filler is a piece of rigid tubing that is about a foot long. One end is open tubing, the other end is a spring loaded valve.
