i just bottled my first brew , i noticed alot of swirling of some substance in my bottles.
i used the corn sugar for carbonation . Also i tasted my brew (obviously not done yet)
but it seem to taste really watery and then BAM flavor galore , are these 2 things normal?

I think all that happened is that your brew aged... I find that after 2 weeks my beer tastes good but after 3 it's like a new beer and as it ages more and more it gets better and better. Not sure if this helped, but the aging process can be pretty amazing on the the quality of your beer

Oh ya that substance was more than likely the yeast fermenting on your corn sugar (priming sugar). Give it another week or two and it should be perfect

Did you boil the corn sugar in a couple of cups of water and add it to your bottling bucket, then rack on top of it from your secondary, or did you really bottle from secondary as you said.

Were you careful to avoid stirring up the yeast and stuff on the bottom of your secondary before racking or bottling?

Did you keep the tip of your siphon above the trub and yeast at the bottom of the secondary?

Did you dry hop? Pellets or whole hops?

i boiled one cup of water with the sugar , put in solution in bucket and then racked from 2nd carboy.

no i honestly was not careful to not stir up yeast .

i used pellets
