Bottling question

When you bottle do you shake the bottle after its capped to mix the sugar?

no..... to mix the sugar boil it in 2 cups of water for 10 minutes then cool and pour into your bottling bucket. then rack your beer into the bucket. make sure the hose is on the bottom of the bucket and kind of curled around. this will set up a natural swirling motion that will mix your sugar.
