Hi Everyone!

Two questions:

1) I let my beer do its primary fermentation in the bottling bucket accidentally and now I have to bottle it. Should I siphon it to my carboy and then back to the bottling bucket in order to mix in the sugar before bottling it in order to get rid of the sediment? I've been told that adding sugar in the carboy would just end up bubbling over--is this right?

2) How much dextrose do I use for 20 litres of IPA? I was told 500grams but also just 160grams. What's the correct amount?

Thanks!

You should rack to your carboy, and then bottle from there...assuming you have a siphon and bottling wand.

Use 4.20 oz of corn sugar...or 120 grams.
